May 2017 has been a month of awards for The Pregnancy Mindset Expert, Ruth Oshikanlu. At the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) annual congress in Liverpool, Ruth was conferred with a fellowship from The Royal College of Nursing.  The RCN Fellows are an outstanding group of people who have made a real difference to others and to nursing.  These prestigious awards are given for exceptional contributions to nursing or health care. Fellows are entitled to the letters FRCN after their name.

A week later, at The 6th Women4Africa awards, Ruth received a recognition award for the contribution she has made to women and children and the nursing and midwifery profession. Ruth is delighted to have received both awards.  According to her, she is a midwife at heart and her mission is to be ‘with woman’ when she most needs a woman in her life.  Her desire is to be a great model for her colleagues.
