The QNI Spring Awards Ceremony was held at The Commonwealth Club in London on 23 April 2012. Ruth was one of the 42 nurses that were conferred with the Queen’s Nurse (QN) title.

A Queen’s Nurse is someone who is committed to high standards of practice and patient-centred care. The Queen’s Nursing Institute (QNI) supports innovation and best practice, in order to improve care for patients. They believe that one way to do this is to bring together community nurses who share common values with a shared title. The title is available to individual nurses who have demonstrated a high level of commitment to patient care and nursing practice.
