Regal meets royalty!
Ruth Oshikanlu, CEO of Goal Mind Limited and creator of Tune In To Your Baby, attended her formal investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace on Thursday, 2nd May 2019. She was awarded her MBE, an honour from Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, by The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William.
All clad in purple, Ruth attended the prestigious ceremony with her father and son who she was honoured to have as her guests. She was appointed as a Member of The Order of The British Empire in The 2019 New Years Honours List as an ambassador for the health visiting profession and for services to community nursing, children and families.
Ruth said:
“I feel so privileged to have been of services to women, children and families. I am Proud to Nurse and was consider it an honour to be amongst several nurses who also received honours. Caring is my business! This honour has definitely fuelled my mission to continue to be of service to women and children, and to continue to raise the profile of community nursing and nurse. Having my father and my son attend with me filled me with so much delight as they both are my biggest champions!”
